In recent years, with the rapid growth of the global art market, the topics of art investment and appreciation have become more and more prevalent. However, due to the general practical problems in the international art market such as lack of transparency, and potential fraud and forgery, novice buyers are facing numerous challenges and risks.
In "Art as an Investment'' course, you will explore first-hand information about art appreciation, art investment and collection management through five curated courses, and understand the ecology and mainstream of the Western art market. This course will help you avoid potential risks and pursue your collecting passions strategically and efficiently.

About Kyrene
Kyrene Chen is a professional art advisor who builds and manages collections for high-net-worth Chinese clients worldwide. Her academic training includes an MA in the Visual Arts Administration from New York University and a BA in the History of Art from University of California, Irvine. She specializes in Post-War and contemporary art and works on projects internationally.
Kyrene Chen founded ARTRA INC in New York City in 2018. In the last three years, she has established close partnerships with 100+ major art institutions, renowned experts and luxury brands in America; planned and hosted 60+ high-end art events in New York City; provided bespoke services including market education, acquisition guidance and collection management to 400+ high-net-worth Chinese clients.
She produces bilingual video series that focus on art collecting and luxury lifestyle. She lectures globally on art market and art collecting at private clubs and universities including New York University and Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
