This class is designed to bridges the gap between textbook learning and practical exercises for students to learn to be an entrepreneur. It is to prepare the students for success in building and run a successful
business. The class also teaches the skills that help students to excel in the workplace and in life. Youth Entrepreneur Workshop (YEW) teach young people with the ethics and code of conducts that
embrace the values and vision to pursue their dreams. Our goal is to change the mindsets of young people and encourage them to be creative and proactive, so they are confident to pursue their big dreams. Our instructors are industry experts and successful entrepreneurs. We inspire students to overcome their own weakness and enhance other skills to catch the opportunities for good.
The students from this class will receive free advisory to participate in DECA High School National Virtual Business Challege (start from September each year).
  • Instructor: Jaimie M. Rush/ Frank
  • Schedule: M - F,  Aug 9th - Aug 20th
  • Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm (EST)  / 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm (PST)
  • Requirements: Grade 7 and above, class taught with English.
  • Bonus: Organize teams to join National Business Competitions
  • Tuition can be fully refunded before the second class. After that, no refund.

Frank

Frank took Principal/MD Ancilla Capital Advisors of Alternative Investment and the CEO of Atrata Inc. He built the next generation leaders of the free world, ppl of strong moral and social character. Proprietary network. Frank worked as Providence Equity Partners, Head of quant analytics Morgan stanley Real estate and PE Credit Suisse Alternative Investments, DLJMB/IP
Frank holds an MBA degree from Wharton School, MSE Engineering U-Wisconsin/U Mich.

                Learning Outcomes

  • Define entrepreneurship, identify what is your passion, and build up your business idea.
  • Learn how to design your own product interface and build your own marketing system.
  • Utilize the business model canvas and other steps provided in class to assess your dream business, with a particular focus on “who you are” and “what you do”
  • Learn the business finance and business accounting, taxes and ownership
  • Analyze the challenges and assumptions in growing a startup and scaling impact in a niche market.
